Kia ora! I'm Anissa, a proud native of Aotearoa. The Spice journey ignited within me at 18, driven by a deep passion for vintage fashion. I've always been captivated by the expressive energy of powerful female icons, allowing us to embody a version of ourselves that breaks free from retail's mannequin standards.

My whānau is comprised of powerful Māori women, each with their own striking and passionate sense of self. We were taught the essence of kaitiakitanga — the profound value of preserving our land and its resources. Thus, my ancestral connection has guided most of my journey. I find beauty in recycling and breathing new life into timeless garments that deserve a second chance, instead of subscribing to constant consumption.
